This pavilion sits 300 m southeast of the main tower. It has a total area of 1,750 m2, with 50 m or so length, 15.5 m width and 17 m height. Its name, so to speak, has been inspired by Tang poet Li Bai’s ethereal lines “From Yellow Crane Tower a jade flute is heard; the tune imbues this riverside city with falling mume petals.” This quaint building stands in contrast with Yellow Crane Tower and White Cloud Pavilion.
